- Lightning Video (1985-1990): A sub-label of Vestron Video dedicated to genre films.
- Vestron Video
(1981-1992): The main subsidiary of Vestron, Inc.- Wizard Video (1981-????): A label specializing in genre fare. Established by Charles Band.
- Empire International Pictures (1983-1988): Also established by Charles Band, just
prior to launching Full Moon Entertainment.- Magnum Entertainment
(1985-1993): A sub-label of
Artisan Entertainment Inc.
that
specialized in genre fare, particularly b-movie horror.- Vidmark Entertainment (1985-2000): Initially known for b-horror and independent films, it was later renamed to Trimark Pictures Inc.
- Virgin Vision (1987-1989): Discontinued film distribution after the financial failure of Absolute Beginners (1986). Later reformed as Virgin Films.
- Media Home Entertainment (1978-1993): Yet another label originally established by Charles Band.
- U.S.A. Home Video (1983-1984): While technically Artisan Entertainment Inc., the company re-founded itself numerous times during its lifespan. This particular iteration only lasted a year.
